If you’re trying to build a vintage style or pinup wardrobe you have to start with the essentials. And what other than the pedal pushers?! It is something you can wear everyday, mixing and matching with different sweaters and tops and you can create many styles for the day or even for the evening. I found my favorite pedal pushers at Vivien of Holloway and I have been wearing them all the time. They’re high waisted and kind of loose fitting, in a non stretchy cotton fabric.
For a more authentic look, you can combine them with a slash neck top , a sweater or a shirt you can tuck in or maybe a twin set. I also always pair it with a wide belt for extra cinching at the waist. For shoes, you can choose from high heeled pumps, ankle boots, brogues, ballerinas or even sneakers (50’s style).

This is the last of my shoots in London. I’d like to thank John for collaborating with me and taking such amazing pictures! I’ll miss London and all the wonderful and talented people I met! <3
I apologize for the lack of posts lately, but I’m currently on holidays in Greece, visiting my family and friends. I managed to do only one photoshoot with my beloved brother Constantinos, but it turned out very nice. We did the photoshoot in Chania, somewhere in Kalathas area.
I bought this beautiful dress a month or so ago, from one of my favorite repro brands, Collectif. I usually go to the one in Camden, because it’s closer to where I live and I’m always very happy with the customer service, all the girls are lovely and very helpful (and beautifully dressed!).
It’s called the Monica Gingham Pencil Dress and it’s a nice stretchy cotton fabric, that hugs the curves and accentuates the figure with a nice white thin belt, that matches the elegant sweetheart bust detail.
When i bought it it was full price, but now it’s on sale so you’d better grab it before it’s gone!!!
I really like this dress, it’s super feminine and reminds me of the French Riviera…. Unfortunately I couldn’t fit a lot of things in my tiny suitcase, but if I could, I’d style it with a big white straw hat and straw bag!
Shoes: Zara (old)

Did you buy anything from Collectif this summer?
