Sweet like ice cream!

Dress: Vivien of Holloway
Shoes: Zara (old)
Hair flower: Midcentury Market in Camden

Hello lovelies,

This is my second Vivien of Holloway dress and I adore it! (You saw a similar here) As soon as I saw the colour and the print I thought of Ice cream, cotton candy and all types of sweets in a candy store! So I went to do this shoot at a favorite spot in Athens, Zuccherino! There, you can find delicious desserts and ice cream and there’s choices for Vegans like me, otherwise I wouldn’t go to be honest!

I’m proud to say I own quite a few items from VOH and I love every single one of them. I can’t wait to also show you my winter items that I got last March when I visited their store in London… 😉

By the way, my ice cream flavors were Melon and Blueberry (with chunks of dark choc)! Yumm!!!!

Havana nights dress – Pinup Couture

imageA couple of weeks ago I visited my favorite retro boutique, Revival Retro, to film a video which you’ll soon be able to watch on my channel. Spoiler: lots of amazing outfits coming up! 😉 Of course I couldn’t resist buying a few things myself. This dress is one of them and I must say I’m in love with it! It’s by the American brand Pinup Couture (Pinup Girl Clothing) and the specific design is called “Havana nights“! I can definitely see myself in Havana, inside a 50’s convertible, wearing this gorgeous dress, a headscarf and a pair of cat eye sunglasses! (Sigh!) imageWell I may not have gone to Havana, but I think me and my amazing photographer Constantinos chose a really nice background in my home town Chania in Crete to capture the beauty of this dress! image About the dress: it ticks all the boxes! High quality material, and plenty of it I might add. It doesn’t even need a petticoat, but imagine how much more flare the skirt would have if I wore one. imageimage I love the pointyness of the bust, because it’s gives you even more of a 50’s silhouette, along with the cinched waist, which enhances the hourglass figure (or creates one). By the way, I wasn’t wearing a bra, but next time I’ll wear it with my bullet bra so it looks extra pointy! imageAnd last but not least, the pockets! Let’s take a moment to appreciate the fact that this fabulous dress has pockets! What more can you ask, seriously?!
